Our focus is to identify the needs and provide proper assistance for the most vulnerable. Our efforts have led us to provide emergency temporary care for children. We have provided emergency short term funding to families in need of shelter once displaced by fire and other natural disasters, economic issues, domestic violence, accidents, and lost of life.
Lost and neglected animals* come to our care in many ways. Dogs seeking shelter from the elements and alley cats roaming private residence are commonly turned over to us for their welfare. Often animals are brought over by their owners when they can no longer provide proper care for them. This has become a more common occurrence due to the state of the nation’s economy.
Once an animal is brought to us we provide for veterinarian check up and follow-ups. We groom, feed and shelter the animal. We provide a clean and safe environment for the animal while promoting their adoption. We are devoted to saving the lives of stray animals and placing them in good homes.
Any potential adoption is required to provide assurance that the animal will be place in the proper environment. An inspection of the animal’s future home is conducted prior to approving the adoption to confirm the suitability of the environment for the animal. At least two pre-schedule meetings take place between the animal and its adopter to familiarize the animal with the potential adopter and to confirm suitability. We do not charge any fees for any adoption.
